CHEWED PINK
Bio:
Chewed Pink is a queer female-led dance theatre collective creating multidisciplinary works that exist between realms of imagination and real life. The camp, characterful nature of their work injects contemporary dance with tension and tenderness as they explore the world of the weird and wonderful. They will present a version of their piece I Can’t Take My Body Off. The piece delves into female relationships; to others, to the world and to ourselves. Sweaty palms cradle flushed cheeks, heads butt, limbs entwine, teeth snap and fingers pull at pinched lips blurring the line between sensuality and violence in a struggle to connect and be seen.
